Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Valtree Corporation (“Valtree,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through https://valtree.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies only to information collected through this Site and through emails you send to us from it. It does not cover information we handle on behalf of our clients under separate agreements.

Information We Collect

Information you give us through our contact form. When you use the form on our Connect page, we collect your first and last name, company, job title, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you’re interested in, your message, and whether you have opted in to receive marketing emails from us.

Information you give us when you apply for a job. When you apply through our Careers pages, we collect your name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address, the role(s) and locations you’re interested in, how you heard about us, whether you’re authorized to work in the United States and whether you’ll need visa sponsorship, your résumé, and anything else you choose to include in it.

Voluntary self-identification information. The job application also asks for gender, race or ethnicity, disability status, and military experience. Answering is entirely voluntary. Each question includes a “Prefer not to disclose” option or may be skipped, and your choice will not affect how your application is considered. We use these answers only for equal employment opportunity purposes, such as government reporting and measuring the diversity of our applicant pool, not to make hiring decisions.

Information you send us directly. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your contact details and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site and our hosting and website-security providers automatically log technical information when you visit. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to operate the Site, keep it secure, and block malicious traffic.

Google reCAPTCHA. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps us prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When they load, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.

We do not ask for payment information on this Site, and the Site has no user accounts. Our white papers and other resources can be downloaded without giving us any personal information.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use only the cookies needed for the Site to work and stay secure. Examples include cookies set by our content management system and our website security provider, and cookies Google reCAPTCHA uses to tell people from automated bots. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies or pixels. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block the cookies reCAPTCHA needs, you may not be able to submit our forms.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide information about our services, including scheduling Focus Forward workshops and connecting you with our Expert Network.
  • To review job applications, contact candidates, and make hiring decisions.
  • To send you marketing emails, but only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, and to detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including equal employment opportunity recordkeeping and reporting, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share personal information only in these situations:

  • Service providers who help us run the Site and our business. These include website hosting, website security and firewall services, email, form processing, and Google reCAPTCHA. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Valtree, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business. Your information would remain subject to the protections in this policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. That includes responding to you, considering you for current or future roles, and meeting legal, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements. Afterward, we delete it or anonymize it.

How We Protect Your Information

The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and protected by a website firewall. Within Valtree, access to personal information is limited to people who need it for their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send highly sensitive information, such as Social Security or financial account numbers, through our forms or by email.

Your Choices and Rights

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:

  • know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it, and get a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • limit our use of sensitive personal information, such as the voluntary self-identification answers on job applications;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent you have given; and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California residents: The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the rights described above. Job applicants are covered too. In the past 12 months we collected the categories of information described under “Information We Collect”: identifiers, contact and professional information, résumé and employment information, internet activity and technical data, and voluntary sensitive information such as race or ethnicity, gender, and disability status. We obtained this information from you and from your device, and we used it for the purposes described above. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we don’t, we treat Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of any future selling or sharing.

To make a request, email us at info@valtree.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will need to verify your identity before responding. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Visitors Outside the United States

Valtree is based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. Data protection laws there may differ from those where you live. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information on these grounds: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, recruiting, and securing the Site, your consent (for marketing emails), and compliance with legal obligations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Links to Other Websites

The Site may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
